Our Provincial Key S&T Project Approved by Housing and Urban-Rural Development Authority

Recently, the science and technology research project Study on Key Technologies for Ultra-high Energy Dynamic Compaction Treatment of Large-thickness Miscellaneous Fill Sites, led by Shanxi Jinbaodao Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., has successfully passed the acceptance review by the expert group of Shanxi Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

Recently, the provincial science and technology project led by the company, Research on Key Technologies for Ultra-high Energy Dynamic Compaction of Large-thickness Miscellaneous Fill Sites, has successfully passed the acceptance evaluation by the expert group of Shanxi Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Targeting the treatment difficulties of miscellaneous fill sites such as coal mine goaf backfill areas, the project developed eco-friendly and efficient ultra-high energy dynamic compaction technology. It clarified the mechanism of dynamic compaction, established innovative numerical models for soil mass, and broke through the limits of existing specifications. The project realized the engineering application of 25,000 kN·m ultra-high energy level and achieved effective treatment of miscellaneous fill foundations with a depth up to 18 meters.
The research results revitalize idle and underutilized land resources including industrial wasteland and suburban miscellaneous fill land, facilitating urban renewal, infrastructure development and intensive land use. They fundamentally reduce engineering risks such as foundation settlement and building cracks. Meanwhile, the project has formed systematic technical standards and cultivated professional talents, driving overall technological upgrading of the industry with remarkable demonstration effects.
After comprehensive review, the acceptance expert group fully recognized the research significance, solid achievements and complete documentation, and unanimously approved the project for acceptance.
