The 2026 Academic Symposium on Belt and Road Land Reclamation and Engineering Protection Successfully Held at North University of China — Chairman Wen Zhe Led the Team to Attend and Deliver an Invited Report

From July 17 to 19, the 2026 Academic Symposium on Belt and Road Land Reclamation and Engineering Protection was successfully held at North University of China. Focusing on key challenges including construction on complex geology, land reclamation and engineering safety protection along the Belt and Road, the symposium brought together more than 130 authoritative experts, scholars and frontline technicians nationwide. It served as a high-level platform for academic exchange and achievement transformation, boosting technological innovation and high-quality development of engineering construction along the routes. Mr. Wen Zhe, Chairman of our company, led a team to attend the symposium and delivered an invited report.
Centered on the theme “Land Reclamation · Engineering Protection · Intelligent Resilience · Collaborative Innovation”, the symposium conducted multi-dimensional discussions on frontier areas such as ground improvement, slope protection, underground space safety, intelligent monitoring and improvement of engineering resilience. Featuring keynote speeches, sub-forum exchanges, achievement matchmaking and field investigations, it showcased the latest industry research findings and engineering practices, providing vital support for tackling difficulties in construction on complex sites and advancing in-depth industry-university-research integration.
At the symposium, Chairman Wen Zhe presented an invited report entitled Practice and Exploration of Chinese Solutions for Dynamic Compaction Projects under the Belt and Road Initiative. Drawing on the company’s practical experience in multiple key Belt and Road projects, the report systematically summarized optimized approaches and adaptive schemes for dynamic compaction technology under diverse complex geological conditions. It demonstrated the company’s mature integrated technical system for land reclamation and ground improvement, and shared innovative independently-developed technologies for intelligent monitoring and digital quality control, winning high recognition and extensive discussions among participating experts.
The symposium further facilitated industrial technical exchange and transformation of research outcomes.
