Recently, Shanxi JIN BAODAO Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. has been successfully selected into the proposed list for the 20th batch of Taiyuan Municipal Enterprise Technology Centers. This marks the company's outstanding achievements in technological innovation and represents a solid step forward in its technological transformation.
To implement the strategy of invigorating the enterprise through science and technology and build a technological innovation system integrating industry, academia and research, the company established its Technology Center in March 2021, with the Chairman serving as its Director. As the core institution for technological research and development, the Center aims to integrate scientific and technological resources, enhance independent innovation capabilities, and strengthen the company's core competitiveness and sustainable development momentum.
Since its establishment, the Technology Center has vigorously promoted the green and low-carbon foundation treatment concept of "Piling Replacing by Tamping, Rolling Replaced by Tamping". This approach has saved billions of yuan in costs in over a hundred projects, while effectively solving site treatment challenges such as collapsible loess foundations in water-scarce areas and poor soil particle gradation. It has also proposed construction methods for construction waste treatment, alleviating pressure on the ecological environment.
To optimize dynamic compaction design and construction, the Center has jointly established joint R&D centers, industry-university-research bases and laboratories with scientific research institutes and universities including China United Northwest Institute for Engineering Design & Research Co., Ltd. The company is a standing council member of Foundation Treatment, a national-level professional journal, and hosted the 2023 supplementary issue on dynamic compaction.
In addition, the company has edited and participated in the compilation of a number of industrial and local standards, and holds more than 20 authorized patents at home and abroad. It has achieved remarkable results in the field of dynamic compaction equipment, possessing China's largest 50,000 kN·m dynamic compaction machine and various types of rapid dynamic compaction equipment. The company has also deployed a digital construction system to realize intelligent management of equipment.
