Smart Innovation in Kunming Airport Project

In the realm of engineering construction, every subtle improvement has the potential to drive profound transformations. During the construction of the Kunming Airport project, we confronted multiple challenges concerning efficiency, cost, and safety. Through repeated explorations, a simple innovation inspired by daily observations quietly unlocked new possibilities for intelligent construction. 

Fixing the leveling staff to the hammer, a release hook, and a pulley block—this seemingly straightforward creative measure has demonstrated extraordinary significance in practical production. It not only directly enhances production efficiency but also holds promise to indirectly shorten the construction period. 

Initially, such innovation struggled to gain recognition from the client or the supervision unit. We conducted two, three, and even countless on-site construction tests. Colleague Wang Zhiqiang repeatedly communicated and coordinated with the client and supervisor, making substantial modifications and detailed adjustments to the plan, before finally securing initial acquiescence—which I prefer to interpret as a preliminary affirmation. For a long time, high unit costs, personnel shortages, and the safety hazards and uncertainties faced by staff responsible for erecting leveling staffs have been urgent challenges requiring resolution. A shift to "reverse thinking" completely turned the tide. 

However, new questions emerged: although this innovation gained recognition in this project, would it be accepted in other projects? Would such a valuable innovation be buried? These questions continuously flashed through our minds, becoming a new source of concern. While this innovative measure was quickly adopted by other units and industry peers, it precisely demonstrates the broad vision and responsibility of JIN BAODAO people to "pioneer new ideas and lead industry trends."

 We are acutely aware that the value of innovation lies not only in creating benefits for oneself but also in driving the progress of the entire industry. Every sharing of experience and every disclosure of technology represents our sincere commitment to industry development. 

We firmly believe that only by embracing competition and cooperation with an open and inclusive mindset can more intelligent achievements take root in the vast landscape of engineering construction, jointly scripting a new chapter in the era of Chinese construction.
