Journey of Striving: Frontline Tempering and Growth

11 Mar,2025

From the Dalian Airport project to the Hengli Heavy Industry auxiliary workshop project, I have witnessed my own growth in progress. Every project is a challenge, and every experience of overcoming difficulties has strengthened my determination to move towards the goal.
When I took over the Hengli Heavy Industry auxiliary workshop project, the first thing I felt was the tight work pace. The deadline given by Party A is extremely tight, which instantly made me feel immense pressure. However, in this high-intensity environment, I also learned many valuable skills and experiences.

The construction comprised two phases: 3000 energy-level point compaction and 6000 energy level replacement pile. Complex soil conditions included permeable sand, saturated clay, and shallow groundwater at 3m depth. During 3000 energy-level point compaction (Tamping to 5-6 impacts), groundwater upwelling caused tamper sticking, delaying progress. A joint client-approved solution—large-area soil replacement)—resolved the issue despite increased workload.

During the construction of 6000 energy-level replacement piles, precise control of the final blow to the specified elevation proved challenging. Through on-site collaboration, a solution was adopted: backfilling the tamper pit with aggregate based on geological hardness. When the tamper head became obscured after 1-2 blows, the pit was fully filled with aggregate; after 7-8 additional blows, 1-2 shovel loads of aggregate were added to ensure the final elevation met the client’s allowable error tolerance. The task was completed on schedule through close coordination with the client.
Following the Hengli Heavy Industry project, the team immediately departed for the Chifeng site, arriving at 7 PM on January 8. They promptly coordinated with flatbed trucks and cranes, guiding equipment to the spare parts stockpile. Loading operations from 8 PM to midnight were completed in subzero conditions, with Project Manager Guo Ning persevering despite frost on his face and lashes. The team’s seamless collaboration over four hours ensured all components, including the final gantry parts, were securely loaded and dispatched on schedule.

The reason why this task was successfully completed is because we share a common goal in our hearts - to transport these dismantled vehicle parts smoothly to new destinations and embark on a new journey. This year is a new year of striving, and I know that what I have learned so far is far from enough. I must work harder and strive harder than ever before, and contribute more to the development of the company to the best of my ability.
