Chairman Wenzhe Participates in Inaugural Conference of CTA's Underground Space and Foundation Treatment Committee

On the afternoon of October 17, 2025, the inaugural conference of the Specialized Committee on Underground Space and Foundation Treatment of the China Technology Market Association (CTMA) was held in Hangzhou, presided over by Xu Aidong, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Association. Chen Hairong, Party Secretary of the College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Zhejiang University, and Pang Baoping, Executive Vice President of Zhejiang Technology Market Promotion Association, delivered speeches; Wu Yi, Vice President of the Association, addressed the conference. Wen Zhe, Chairman of our company, attended the conference together with Yu Yongtang, Head of the Dynamic Compaction Technology R&D Center, and Dong Baozhi, Chief Engineer.
Chen Hairong pointed out that against the backdrop of the national innovation-driven strategy and Zhejiang's efforts to build an "Innovative Zhejiang", the Specialized Committee has built a high-level platform for integrating university research resources with industrial needs, which is of great significance for deepening industry-university-research-application integration and accelerating technology transfer. Pang Baoping emphasized the key role of underground space development in urban construction, hoping that the Specialized Committee would serve as a "catalyst" between the market and scientific research, promote the localization of technologies in Zhejiang, serve major projects, and build an innovation chain.
Zhou Jian, Professor of Zhejiang University and Leader of the Preparatory Working Group of the Specialized Committee, delivered a report, mentioning that the Specialized Committee, based on the Foundation Treatment Academic Committee, the "Geotechnical Engineering West Lake Forum", etc., has received support from relevant key laboratories of Zhejiang University. Proposed in June 2024, it was approved in December after application and review. In the future, it will focus on "industry-university-research integration", make efforts in standard formulation, academic exchanges, technology transfer, etc., improve its structure and develop members to serve the industry. The conference elected Zhou Jian as Director of the Specialized Committee, who delivered a statement.
Wu Yi congratulated the establishment of the Specialized Committee, stating that it is an important measure for the Association to respond to the national strategy. He required the Specialized Committee to base itself on service, adhere to innovation-driven development, and strengthen industry self-discipline to boost high-quality development of the industry. Led by Zhejiang University, the conference gathered over 100 participants, including top experts such as Wu Wei, Qiu Jianjin, Xu Zhangjian, and representatives from nearly 50 member units.
During the intermission, Wen Zhe congratulated Zhou Jian on his election, expressing the hope to strengthen cooperation between JIN BAODAO, the Specialized Committee, and Zhejiang University. Zhou Jian thanked JIN BAODAO for its support, and both parties expressed confidence in the prospects of cooperation.
