This article recounts my filming and interview experience at JIN BAODAO’s dynamic compaction project in Jungar, Inner Mongolia. Amid sweltering midsummer heat, frontline staff stuck to their posts with well-defined responsibilities. The safety officer rigorously upheld safety protocols, dynamic compaction machine operators worked diligently and devotedly, and the project manager coordinated all work to tackle construction challenges. Integrating on-site footage and frontline interviews, the author records the sincere voices of grassroots builders and showcases the pragmatic, responsible spirit of all JIN BAODAO staff.

Fierce Construction Race in Siping, Solid Foundation for Pioneering Progress

Recently, the ground treatment works of the Siping Lishu Wind-Solar Green Hydrogen Coupled Green Methanol Project undertaken by our company have been fully completed after intensive construction.
Overcoming extreme weather such as strong early-spring winds and persistent rainfall, the project team adopted a 24-hour round-the-clock construction mode, rigorously controlled safety, quality and construction procedures, and efficiently finished large-area dynamic compaction and full-scope pile foundation works. The project ranked first in the owner’s monthly comprehensive assessment, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the whole project.

Innovation Shines in Hard Work: JIN BAODAO ’s On-site Solution to Construction Splashing Challenges

At JIN BAODAO’s Sichuan project, post-rain dynamic compaction operations faced critical risks of mud and debris splashing, threatening to contaminate and damage the adjacent completed factory area. Led by Project Manager Zhang Shouming, a dedicated task force was formed. After evaluating multiple solutions, the team developed a splash-proof device combining square-tube framing with flexible protective materials. This simple yet effective innovation completely resolved the splashing issue, ensuring safe and efficient construction progress. It exemplifies the company’s frontline-focused, action-oriented culture of practical innovation.

Braving Africa Across Mountains and Seas, Forging Overseas Dreams Through Hardships

To expand its overseas market, Shanxi Jinbaodao Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. has launched its dynamic compaction business in Zambia. It completed preliminary work including market research, equipment maintenance and transportation, and deployment of key personnel. Overcoming multiple difficulties in language, logistics and harsh local conditions, and with strong support from the project owner and general contractor, the company has fully finished all pre-construction preparations. The project is scheduled to officially commence on May 4, 2026, fully demonstrating the company’s responsibility and commitment in overseas engineering.

I, my colleague Chen Hong, and Director Cheng went to the Yangquan construction site to collect footage for "Song of the Rammer". We personally witnessed the workers' arduous labor and tacit mutual assistance as they braved the cold wind and severe cold.
