Having been with the Baotou Xiguitu Project of JIN BAODAO for over a month, I have gained an understanding of the "Foundation Worker" responsibility through RTK stakeout calibration and data organization. My mentor, the project manager, and frontline workers each perform their respective duties, and I also stand firm in my post. Together, we jointly interpret the responsibility and commitment of Jinbao Island’s "Foundation Workers" through our actions.

I have been stationed at the Zhaotong Project for over half a year, and the project has entered the final settlement stage. Starting from ignorance when I first arrived at the construction site, I have gradually mastered the construction technologies of intra-hole dynamic compaction gravel piles and CFG piles. I participated in on-site operations and data organization, and deeply realized the value of practice. This experience has not only improved my professional skills but also helped me develop a rigorous attitude, becoming a valuable asset in my career.

On the afternoon of October 17, 2025, the inaugural conference of CTMA's Specialized Committee on Underground Space and Foundation Treatment was held in Hangzhou. It was presided over by Xu Aidong, with Chen Hairong and Pang Baoping delivering speeches, and Wu Yi giving an address. Zhou Jian delivered a preparatory report (proposed in June 2024 and approved in December) and was elected director. Our company's Wen Zhe attended with Yu Yongtang and Dong Baozhi. After the conference, Wen Zhe held talks with Zhou Jian, hoping to deepen cooperation. Over 100 people attended the conference.

On September 20, ahead of the Two Festivals, company leaders including Yang Guanjun, Director of Production, and Wen Li from the Supervision and Audit Department, went to the Kunming Changshui Airport Project despite the rain. They inspected equipment such as dynamic compaction machines, visited the staff living quarters, held a seminar to put forward rectification suggestions, conveyed holiday greetings, and encouraged the staff to go all out to ensure the project's progress and quality for the Two Festivals.

On September 23, 2025, Dong Baozhi, Chief Engineer of Shanxi Jinbaodao Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., was invited to the 58th live broadcast of "Foundation Expert – Lao Zhu Lecture Hall". He introduced the company's profile, research on dynamic compaction foundations and engineering cases, and answered viewers' questions together with Researcher Zhu Chunming. In the semi-desert mountainous area of Jambyl Oblast, Kazakhstan, the Shucheng Dynamic Compaction Team carried out construction under high temperatures exceeding 40℃ and sandstorms. Team members took on multiple roles, overcame challenges like difficult equipment maintenance and heatstroke risks, and implemented a three-shift system to meet the schedule. Supported by the company's supplies and subsidies, they demonstrated responsibility through precise construction, consolidated the foundation of overseas projects with sweat, and showed builders' commitment in harsh environments.

Halfway through 2025, I have been with JIN BAODAO for nearly a month, working on the Xiguitu Project in Baotou. Despite having previous engineering experience, the specialty of dynamic compaction is entirely new to me. The training at the headquarters has boosted my confidence.
My first impression of Baotou is unique, and figures like Mr. Liu have provided enthusiastic guidance. The team adheres to their beliefs even amid extreme weather conditions. I have learned to sort out project materials and experienced on-site hanging and measuring work, which has made me feel the team spirit deeply. In the future, I will delve into professional fields, integrate the enterprise spirit into my work, and strive to perform better.
Touching the Power of Foundation Reinforcement in Practice

As a civil engineering student interning at a construction site with 38-40-meter deep-seated landslide geology, he studied the SDDC (Downhole Dynamic Compaction) technology, which improves foundations through high-kinetic energy tamping inside boreholes. During the internship, the team encountered challenges in hole formation and flexibly adjusted the plan. When performing tamping and filling operations, they strictly adhered to the quality red line. This experience enabled him to comprehend the significance of engineering responsibility and technical practice.

On June 2, the first energy storage and dynamic compaction project in Uzbekistan undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group successfully concluded, setting a new benchmark for Chinese private enterprises in overseas new energy infrastructure. This year, the construction team went to Tengxian, Guangxi to promote the dynamic compaction project. Last year, due to the incomplete construction of saplings in the greening area, it was fully launched this year. Faced with difficulties such as high temperatures of 30-40 degrees Celsius, occasional rain, and complex sites, as well as tight construction schedules, employees of JIN BAODAO took advantage of rainy days to rush to work and completed the greening area compaction in just one month, forging the project with a tenacious spirit.
From Drawings to the Field: Practical Insights for Newcomers in Engineering

The company has initiated preparations for the Lvliang project and organized a special survey, in which I had the privilege of participating. On the way, the chairman emphasized the importance of practice. Subsequently, three plots were surveyed, each facing challenges such as high moisture content, high groundwater level, and natural gas pipeline protection. This survey has made me realize that engineering needs to be combined with reality, and clarify the direction for future professional cultivation and experience accumulation.

At dawn, workers on JIN BAODAO began dynamic compaction operations in Yanggao Development Zone. Manipulating a 32 ton hammer, precise construction was carried out on collapsible loess, and my colleagues and I cooperated seamlessly amidst the dust and sweat. After strict verification and acceptance, the task was completed. Looking back at this land, I deeply understand that every assignment is inheriting the spirit of our predecessors and laying a solid foundation for future development!

On May Day, SHANXI JIN BAODAO FOUNDATION ENGINEERING CO.,LTD paid tribute to the construction workers on the front line of dynamic compaction. They persisted year-round, overcoming difficulties such as extreme cold in Baotou and groundwater seepage from Hengli Heavy Industry, and continued to work late at night in Chifeng.
